KKPoker is delighted to announce Warren Joe as the latest 2025 Vegas Dream winner and KK Elite Team member!
Warren battled through the Canadian qualification path to win his $12,000 package and the chance of a lifetime to play in the world's biggest live poker Main Event in Las Vegas.
With over two decades of poker experience behind him, Warren will undoubtedly harness that when battling in the $10,000 buy-in event.
"I was so surprised"
Congratulations, Warren! Great to have you join the 2025 KK Elite Team. When did you join the KKPoker community?
"I started playing online poker about 25 years ago, and recently my friend turned my head to KKPoker, with all the local satellites to live events to play, and that's when I entered the Vegas Dream event." said Warren.
How are you feeling since the $12,000 Vegas Dream package win?
"When I won the ticket I was so surprised I couldn't believe it! And it wasn't until I communicated with the KKPoker team it set in that I'm going to be in the tournament.
"I am happy to be part of the KK Elite Team and hopefully learn new skills and play with great players."
Did you have any tough spots to navigate in the tournament?
"One of my toughest hands was when I hit a straight to the King. I pushed all in and my opponent called and hit quad queens! Ha. It was a good hand. I like heads-up play as less callers and better odds."
"patient is best"
Warren enjoys the outdoor life and camping outside of poker, so how will he prepare for, potentially, many days at the poker tables in Las Vegas?
"I plan to work and save and play as much as possible until the event. I find being patient is best, and not getting too invested in some hands." added Warren.
"And to play premium hands, but any hands can be winners, and realizing when to get out of a losing hand as soon as possible."
As a Canadian poker player, Warren has many big names to look up to, but he admits that the most famous of them all, Daniel Negreanu, would be his favorite.
With a $10,000 Main Event ticket now to his name, Warren will have the opportunity to be amongst a field of his poker idols come July 2025.
KK ELITE TEAM GROWING
Warren joins fellow Vegas Dream package winners Toni 'ZENGA' Zengovski, Sharath Maddur, and Marco Dickner as part of the 2025 KK Elite team.
